Today I’m joining Elizabeth Esther’s monthly link-up “The Saturday Evening Blog Post.” It’s a chance to highlight our favorite post from the previous month and find new bloggers.

Elizabeth and I had the chance to spend a few days together at the Relevant Conference last week, and she suggested to me that one of my defining characteristics is peace-making. Now before you snort your coffee all over your screen, remember that sometimes making peace requires digging into the controversy, teasing out all the tangles, and making a huge mess. With that in mind, I’m highlighting the post “Pat Robertson, Richard Dawkins, Al Qaeda, and Our Fascination with the Fringe.”

(I always have a tough time picking just one post, though, so I have to whisper “Did you read my Deeper Story post for October? I’m rather fond of ‘Burn Ladies, Burn’ too.”)
